After watching the free U-Stream broadcast of K1 Rising, it is painfully obvious that Badr Hari has no chance of beating Daniel Ghita. Badr Hari has always been chinny, and with Romanian Daniel Ghita seemingly turning into the hulk recently, Hari is going to get KO’ed by Ghita.
Ghita looked indestructible with earth-shattering leg-kicks and punches to poor Wendell Roche, who had never been stopped before. On the other hand, Badr Hari looked like he had aged ten years since his last fight with Gokhan Saki. His physique was noticeably soft, his timing was off, and even more disturbing – he was gassed after ONE round. I have no idea how this guy thinks he’s going to become a heavyweight boxing champion, if he can’t even go one round without losing his power.
To me, a fight between Daniel Ghita and Badr Hari, will only have either two conclusions: Hari getting knocked out, or Hari finding a way to get disqualified because he knows he’s over-matched.
All hail the new kickboxing king, Daniel Ghita!
