  • Blackzilians Under Fire, Should They Disband?

When I first heard about the Blackzilians, I thought it was a very cool name and strong team. I thought they would eventually do big things in the world of MMA. After all they had Alistair Overeem, Rashad Evans, and Tyrone Spong on one team. I thought this team had a lot of talent with Overeem as their franchise player.

    Boy, was I wrong.

The Blackzilian team did awful in their latest UFC outing. Overeem was knocked out by supposed stepping stone Bigfoot Silva and Rashad Evans lost a lackluster decision to Antonio Rogerio Noguiera. Their two biggest stars lost two major fights in one night. Ouch.

Tyrone Spong still seems to be doing well, but he still has a lot to prove in the world of MMA, although he is an elite kickboxer. Something just seemed to be off about the Blackzilians. Some teams have chemistry, while others don’t, and it appeared that whatever was going on in their training sessions wasn’t working.

While I don’t think the Blackzilians should disband just yet, if they keep underperforming then within the next year, they should all move on to other camps.

  • Alistair Overeem First Interview After Loss To Bigfoot Silva, Appears No Longer Cocky

The saying is “Pride goeth before a fall.” This seems to ring true in the case of Alistair Overeem. In an interview with annoying Canadian personality Michael Landsberg, after his loss to Bigfoot Silva, Overeem is uncharacteristically humble. I guess getting knocked out will do that to a person!

  • What Does Alistair Overeem’s Loss Say About The Skill-Level of K1 Strikers?

I’m not going to go out on a limb here and say that K1 strikers are inferior to boxers or MMA fighters, because I don’t think it’s true. Still, it’s genuinely puzzling to me that Overeem was able to steamroll through the likes of Peter Aerts, Gokhan Saki, and Tyrone Spong, and then struggle with the likes of Bigfoot Silva and Fabricio Werdum.

Overeem considers himself a MMA fighter (not a kickboxer) and he was still able to win the largest kickboxing tournament known to man. He also brutally knocked out Badr Hari, and quickly dispatched of the legendary Peter Aerts.

Even the most diehard fans of Bigfoot Silva and Fabricio Werdum wouldn’t claim that they’re elite strikers.

Are K1 kickboxers simply not as good as MMA fighters? I’m not sure what the answer is.

  • Arrogant Alistair Overeem Gets Knocked Out By Bigfoot Silva!

Alistair Overeem personifies arrogance, which is the main reason why I dislike him. After returning from his suspension, Overeem was expected to defeat Bigfoot Silva and then face Junior Dos Santos (now Cain Velasquez) for the heavyweight title.

Bigfoot Silva, instead, spectacularly bullied and knocked out Overeem in the third round. This loss turns the UFC heavyweight division on its head. Overeem was expected to be the next contender for the heavyweight title, but the way he lost to Silva drops him a few notches. Plus, considering how easily UFC newcomer Daniel Cormier handled Bigfoot Silva, Cormier may be the top contender now. The heavyweight division has just gotten a little bit more interesting.

  • Alistair Overeem Arm Wrestles Bob Sapp

Alistair Overeem is keeping himself busy while not working. Where do exiled PED users go… why Japan of course! Video is below.

  • Kenny Florian Condemns PED Users, That Means YOU Alistair Overroid

I completely agree, particularly because random testing is what FINALLY caught routine PED abuser Alistair Overeem. I think Overeem, in partiular, irritates me, because of how boldly he lied about his usage, and how arrogant his personality is. It’s hard not to believe that much of his success is due to his use of PEDs when one sees how much he’s improved since his Pride days.

  • Funny Junior Dos Santos Animated Gif

This is how Junior Dos Santos might be feeling, not knowing who he’s going to fight next now that Alistair Overeem has been busted for elevated testosterone levels. This gif is especially funny, because Junior Dos Santos is such a mellow, laid-back fellow in real life. I also think it’s funny that Junior Dos Santos felt the need to point out that he’s never used a PED in his life on his twitter account. I hope he continues to test clean after saying that, because he seems like one of the “good” guys in MMA, unlike the walking pharmacy known as Alistair Overeem.

  • Alistair “Overroid” Is A Liar And A Fraud Fighter

Watch Alistair Overeem in the below video boldly LIE about his PED usage to the entire world. Alistair Overroid’s deafening quiet about his recent positive test speaks more than words ever could.

And to think this ROIDED UP FREAKSHOW could’ve been UFC champion is disgusting. Go away Alistair and don’t ever come back. He’s obviously been cheating and cheating for countless years. He probably eats steroids for breakfest, lunch, and dinner. He’s a liar, a cheater, a fake who’s been piggybacking off his PED usage for years.

This is Alistair Overeem before he went bat-sh** crazy on PEDs.

Then watch his fight below with Remy Bonjasky. He looks like a WWE wrestler. He can barely move his neck due to all the steroid muscles he developed in his neck. He makes me sick.

  • Alistair Overeem Fails Drug Test, No Surprise At All

Well, after the rumors flying rampant for many years about Alistair Overeem’s massive physique change from his days as a light-heavyweight to his days now as a massive heavyweight, he has finally tested positive for elevated testosterone levels, ie steroid use.

I remember reading about the aggressive drug-testing the Nevada commission had started doing, and thinking that Overeem was going to be one of the men who would be in trouble. I felt it was only a matter of time. Overeem had all the tell-tale signs of a habitual steroid user, with his WWE physique. I also felt that his issues with drug-testing with Nevada, such as visiting his sick mother and conveniently forgetting to give a blood sample, played right into my suspicions.

I was just waiting for the day when Overeem didn’t cycle properly and he would get caught. Having previously fought in Japan, which only has lax drug-testing policies, I knew fighting in the USA would bring him trouble.

Dana White, of course, is flipping out, with one of his biggest heavyweight fights ever, being totally demolished. He, surprisingly, has said that he has no backup plan and sounds like he’s freaking out:

The worst part is that he sat in front of us and lied to us (referring to a meeting in the UFC’s offices meeting with White and CEO Lorenzo Fertitta, where Overeem insisted he was clean and would pass all drug tests). How (expletive) stupid do you have to be? Seriously dumb. Anybody who’s using (performance-enhancing drugs) right now is an absolute (expletive) moron..

Frank Mir, however, see this as a great opportunity, and is dying to replace Overeem vs Junior Dos Santos. It sounds like the heavyweight scene in the UFC is about to go through some seismic shifts.

My personal opinion? I can’t stand Overeem and his cocky attitude, and glad that his cheating finally caught up with him.

  • Alistair Overeem’s Fiance is Swedish Zelina Bexander

Alistair Overeem has recently gotten engaged to his twenty-two year-old Swedish girlfriend Zelina Bexander. There has been some confusion over her identity, because she looks very similar to his previous girlfriend that he has a child with. His previous girlfriend is pictured below, and she has appeared on television with him several times:

She has been pictured as his current girlfriend Zelina Bexander. But, in fact, this is his current fiance in the below pictures, who is actually a completely different person. Overeem definitely has a “type,” doesn’t he?
