I, for one, would love to see this match. Fabricio Werdum looked fantastic against Roy Nelson, who is a top ten heavyweight. However, if he does get the re-match, I hope he doesn’t think his striking is good enough to hang with Dos Santos, and tries to use his BJJ instead. Below, he is interviewed by MMA reporter Karyn Bryant about his desire for the re-match.

I don’t care for this fight. I think Werdum will have his ass kicked again, but since this is the second time you talk about this fight, seems to me that you really want to see it. Rumor has it that the next TUF Brasil will be Shogun x Machida or Cigano x Werdum…
i like werdum, because he speaks on behalf of women’s rights, by condemning sex-trafficking. sergio martinez speaks up for battered women, so i like him a lot also.
i also think werdum has a very charming personality, so i want him to beat cigano, who’s boring!
So you like goofballs… I’ll keep that in mind, Gloria Steinem =p

He’s not a fan favorite back there in my country. Quite the opposite.
Given the fact that Junior really hates his guts… I predict a massacre.
I was expecting to see something here about the Korean Zombie.. especially after his last fight…
Fedor Emelianenko vs Chan Sung Jung:

yes i do like goofballs
junior’s going to lose in devastating fashion soon. i can just sense it, and it’s going to be in a way no one would think.
chan sung jung is cool, but i’ve been really impressed by Hatsu Hioki, too bad he lost his last fight.
I think Velasquez has a good chance. As for Hioki… amazing ground game but he would be beaten by my sister…
