Daniel Cormier Is The Real Deal, Defeats Josh Barnett To Become New Strikeforce Champion

I had a feeling that Daniel Cormier was going to become the new Strikeforce champion. I didn’t really write about it, because frankly I wasn’t that interested in the fight. But, for Cormier to have won via unanimous decision, against one of the top ten heavyweights in the world is really impressive. Cormier is a somewhat undersized heavyweight who is still undefeated, and wasn’t even slated to be a part of the Strikeforce tournament in the beginning.

Josh Barnett, I personally find to have an annoying personality and he is obviously a habitual PED user. I’m glad that Cormier won, although the future of Strikeforce seems somewhat uncertain now. However, I believe that Cormier in the UFC would be very interesting, and he would be another great addition to the UFC heavyweight roster. Josh Barnett, on the other hand, should just go back to Japan where he can pump himself with as many steroids as his heart desires.
